H&A has been requested to provide a complete proposal to provide the Expansion to the Truck Service Building at an existing active location based on the documents provided.  We are pleased to invite you to provide us with a proposal for the above-mentioned project.  We are requesting proposals be returned no later than 02/14/24 – Noon EST.

The project scope is a Parking lot demo with minor grading, utilities, curb, asphalt, misc. concrete, retaining wall with fencing and other site improvements per plans and specifications.  Installation of Owner-furnished new Pre-engineered Metal Building (2750 SF expansion) and reskinning complete existing building.  The existing space interior will not be modified.  The new expansion area will include slab-on-grade, structural steel tower element, fire sprinkler, mechanical, plumbing, & electrical services. The base bid is to include specified products/manufacturers without substitution. Please see the attached sheet for Owner Provided Items.

SPECIAL BID NOTE: 

1. The proposal shall remain valid and firm for 60 days after bid due date.

2. NOTE – Owner Furnished Equipment specifications are provided (Supplemental Folder) for review and use.  If cut sheet for any item is not included, it will not be provided by the owner regardless of plan notes.

3. Include receipt and proper storage of Owner-furnished items as applicable to your scope of work.

4. This site is an active truck stop and fuel facility will remain in normal business operation during construction.  Business disruption will NOT be acceptable.

   1. Proper safety to drivers, customers, and construction activities to be considered as needed.

Permits are in hand and the project can be started ASAP.  H&A’s anticipated date of commencement is early March 2024, with completion within 16 weeks (to be confirmed).  The project address is 1125 Bucksnort Road Jackson, GA 30233.
