Due to the late submission of revised drawings, our bid date for Racetrack (Extra Space) Storage has been extended to Wednesday, June 14th. 

The Racetrack Self Storage is close to home, and we need your help to win it! We are very interested in VE options in all divisions. Please be sure to include alternate pricing or deducts for any such materials. Please reference the notes below if applicable to your scope of work. Otherwise, happy bidding! 

 Division 2 - Sitework: 

• This project consists of building only (4 walls in), site lights if shown, and secondary power to structure.

  • Exclude ALL SITE WORK, including landscape, sidewalks, pads, and dumpster enclosure.

  • Include material testing, site layouts and as-builts, and NPDES monitoring.

Division 5 - Metals:

•  PEMB is design build, and should be light gauge metal frame.

Division 8 - Storefront:

• Please price alternate materials for storefront.

Division 9 - Flooring:

• Exclude all notions of a special polished floor.  Include a simple curing compound sprayed after concrete is poured. 

Division 14 - Elevator:

• Please price VE alternates to the elevator.

Division 15 - Mechanical:

• Please feel free to price alternate RTUs with similar specs

• Exclude dehumidifiers, especially if they aren’t shown.

Division 16 - Electrical:

• Exclude all low voltage, access controls, BDA, security, CCTV, music, tele/data, etc.

• Bid using VE light fixtures and gear, or have a deduct to use VE alternates.
