Formal response requested info on carpet tile. In the meantime, please see below in red:
1. What are the hours of work?
Monday through Friday 7AM – 6PM; however, we can accommodate extended hours as reasonably requested in writing in advance.
2. Can we work on weekends if needed?
Yes. Accommodations will be made upon reasonable prior written request.
3. Will any night work be required?
Only in the event access to occupied space is required; however, this should not apply as space below Suite 301 is unoccupied.
4. Finish plan A3103 lists the carpet as carpet tile but description says 12’. So is the carpet a 12’ broadloomwith 18” x 24” pattern repeat or carpet tile?
Pending response from AOR/designer.
5. In the existing office # 3019 there was exposed electrical outlet and waterline are these to be removed?
Yes, remove and cap, except in the event the Project Drawings indicate otherwise.
6. Is there an owner approved MEP vender list we need to use?
No
7. Is there a rule book for doing work in the 5009 Roswell Road Building?
Please see attached “5009 Roswell Road – Contractor Rules and Regulations” which will be attached as an exhibit to the construction contract and included by reference, and note the following set forth in Appendix C to the Bid Invitation: Bidder is responsible for minimizing the impact to the existing tenants/business operations at the building where the Project is located, including but not limited to maintaining all safety barriers required by applicable law and any additional barriers and floor/wall coverings necessary to minimize sound, odors, dirt and dust emitting from or otherwise resulting from the performance of the Work.
8. Who is to clean up all the existing material that is in the Suite 301 office space?
Owner will remove existing material at its sole cost prior to commencement of work.
9. Will we be required to help with any of the moving or installation of owner furnished millwork, office equipment, workstations, appliances, and furniture?
Contractor will not be required to assist with the moving or installation of owner-furnished millwork, office equipment or workstations; however, contractor will be reasonably expected to coordinate such moving/installations with its construction schedule and other trades. Please note the following regarding appliances set forth in Appendix C to the Bid Invitation: Unless otherwise noted, Bidder is responsible for all appliance/fixture installations pursuant to the applicable manufacturer specifications.
10. Are we just planning to stop the the wall just under the AHU pan at the reception area for pricing purposes?
