CarMax #4029 New Production Facility Manchester, TN

The project and bid details are as follows:

Site development includes extensive earthwork, storm water piping, fire and domestic water piping, sanitary sewer, site walls, underground fuel tank, site concrete and walks, site electrical, installation of multiple barrier gates and asphalt paving. The total developed site area is approximately 28 acres.

Building construction consists of a standalone 70,618 sf production building, a 936 sf standalone carwash building, a 660 sf standalone guard house, and a 6,827 sf standalone auction building.

CarMax will furnish the entire steel package. This includes but is not limited to, structural steel, miscellaneous steel (shop reel trapeze, RTU screen steel, etc.). This also includes the joist and metal deck package. The contractor will need to include erection of these items in the bid amount. Other owner furnished items include the roof-top units, interior and exterior doors and hardware  including overhead doors, all interior and exterior lighting fixtures, main switch gear and panels and miscellaneous interior finish materials for installation by the Contractor. There are several separate contractors for low voltage wiring, security, vehicle lifts, etc. that will be coordinated by, but not contracted to, the general contractor.
