Contractors are invited to submit lump sum bids for Bid Package One (1) through Twenty-Six (26), Newton County Athletic Complexes.
Sealed bids will be received by the Construction Manager until 3:00 pm, Thursday, December 05, 2024, at the Newton County STEAM Academy Auditorium, 10245 Eagle Drive, Covington, GA 30014. Bids must be submitted in Duplicate on the Construction Manager’s Proposal Form along with a 5% Bid Bond if required by the Bid Package. No Faxed or E-Mailed Bids Accepted.
There will be a non-mandatory Open House / Pre-proposal Meeting for all local and
interested subcontractors on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 11:00am at Newton County Schools Service Center (Conference Room), 11031-A Covington Bypass Rd., Covington, GA 30014. Following the informational meeting, all interested proposers will be able to visit the project site.
A thorough review of the bid package description and documents is required before submitting bids.
The agreement form will be AIA Document A401, 2017 Edition, between the Construction Manager and the Successful Bidder.
