Southern Tire Mart #0424 at Pilot Flying J Ocala, FL

As a previously interested bidder, we have received updated information.  H&A has been requested to provide a complete proposal to construct a NEW Southern Tire Mart at an existing Pilot Truck Stop based on the documents provided.  We are pleased to invite you to provide us a proposal for the above-mentioned project.  We are requesting proposals be returned no later than 02/15/24 – Noon EST.

The project scope is:  Parking lot demo with minor grading (0.99ac disturbed), utilities, curb, asphalt, misc. concrete, fencing, and other site improvements per plans and specifications.  New Pre-engineered Metal Building 4-bays (10,625 SF) with 586 SF of finished office space, mechanical mezzanine & complete mechanical, plumbing, & electrical services. Base bid is to include specified products/manufacturer without substitution. Please see the attached sheet for Owner Provided Items.

SPECIAL BID NOTE: 

1. Proposal shall remain valid and firm for a period of 60 days after bid due date.

2. NOTE – utility route is in the path of access road.  Include traffic control and barricades according during installation.

3. NOTE – Owner Furnished Equipment specifications are provided (Supplemental Folder) for review and use.  If cut sheet for any item is not included, it will not be provided by owner regardless of plan notes.

4. Include receipt and proper storage of Owner furnished items as applicable to your scope of work.

5. This site is a truck stop that is active and fuel facility will remain in normal business operation during construction.  Business disruption will NOT be acceptable.

   1. Proper safety to drivers, customers, and construction activities to be considered as needed.

Permits are in hand and project can start ASAP.  H&A’s anticipated date of commencement is April 2024 with completion within 20-wks.  Project address is 4080 W. Highway 326 Ocala, FL 34482.
